The family-sized stacking creamer and sugar set is from the earlier portion of Russel Wright’s Iroquois Casual line and was only available in the original colors. Somewhat hard to find, it’s a super-sized version of the more commonly found stacking creamer and sugar, with the only readily seen difference (aside from the size) is the sugar base features three dimples instead of two.
This powder blue example features the typical gloppy glazework and the clay body is a warm tan color. Powder blue examples tend to be somewhat thicker and sloppier, staying more true to Wright’s original intention of mimicking handmade studio ceramics. Other than the expected factory glaze globs and glaze misses, this example is in excellent original condition.
