Flair was introduced in 1959 and featured a translucent melamine body with several different pattern options. Its shapes were more elegant, elevating plastic dinnerware to a more refined table setting rather than casual or picnic-type uses. Ming Lace used actual leaves from the Jade Orchard tree embedded in the melamine. Other patterns included Arabesque, Spring Garden, Golden Bouquet, Nasturtium and Woodland Rose.
