In 1945, Russel Wright designed an art pottery line for Bauer Pottery, which was marketed and distributed by Raymor. Consisting of 20 pieces in biomorphic shapes and naturalistic, earthy glazes, it was Wright’s intention that these resemble handmade studio art pottery. This line, while sought after by today’s collectors was short-lived, only in production through 1946, with sales ending in 1947.
