Like many dealers, I started out as a collector and soon learned how to buy and sell to support my habit. With a background in both design and retail, reselling came easily for me. The fun truly is in the hunt for things – the places we go, the things we find, the people we meet and the adventures we have along the way. And, I am happy to report that it’s still very fun after all of these years.

Now that I have gotten back into the antique mall booth business again, I am quickly realizing how much things have changed since I last kept a local retail space some 10 years ago. Sure, eBay and online shopping have been around since the late 1990s, but even those venues have evolved. Most shoppers now have smartphones, granting instant access to look anything up online – on the spot. The supply of instant information is vast and the world is shrinking, thanks to the internet.

The online world has seen many major changes in the last few years, too. Many of you may remember the previous incarnations of this website. It was basically an online gallery of inventory and prices and to buy, all you had to do was drop me an line via email, and we would make purchasing and shipping arrangements through email, with payment by Paypal or a snail-mailed check. Even though I was separated by many miles and had never met most of my you personally, these transactions still allowed me to get to know many of you and your collecting preferences very well.

I’m still here!

To accommodate the majority of customers who browse online with smartphones and tablets, as well as new search engine requirements, I have reworked this site into a responsive e-commerce site. If it’s listed as available on the site, you can buy it with just a few clicks. While it may seem larger and more impersonal, I am still available to answer your questions, provide any insights or guidance or just “dish” about your favorite vintage finds. My email address has not changed in all of these years. If you don’t already have it, simply drop me a line through the Contact Us page. I am looking forward to hearing from you all again and helping you find your favorite vintage modern pieces.

Blogging is another activity that comes hand in hand with these changing times. I plan to post new editions regularly and I will use this space to answer questions I am often asked by collectors, as well as share latest news, events and adventures. I hope you’ll follow these posts and if there’s  a question or topic you’d like me to cover, drop me a line!
